Hearing Care Practitioner
Cheryl Swainston is our Hearing Care Practitioner in the Foley, Alabama office. She is married to Richard and the mother of three boys and has one grandson. She has been in the customer service industry for over 20 years. Cheryl loves living on the Gulf Coast and helping her patients enjoy a better quality of life through improved hearing.
Patient Care Coordinator
Charmaine grew up in Mobile, Alabama and currently resides in Fairhope, Alabama with her husband, Stephen, one dog, one cat and a bird. She has one son and three grandchildren. She takes great pleasure in helping and meeting everyone that walks in the door.
How an Appointment Works
- What makes the patient experience at your practice unique?
Our Hearing Care Practitioner Cheryl Swainston. We make house calls and Cheryl gives out her personal number to patients for after hours emergencies and makes sure every in-home visit patient is treated with the utmost care and customer service.
- What is the in-office hearing aid trial process?
After consulting with patients and testing their hearing, we explain in detail our 30 day free trial process and let them try demo models to begin hearing a difference while discerning which one is right for them.
- How do they get free batteries? (Do they participate in Beltone Blue)
Patients are informed about Beltone Blue during their consultation and encouraged to participate to receive free batteries and other offers.
- How do trade-ins work?
Patients with older technology are informed of new devices and how they may test them with Beltone offering discounts on trade-ins towards new devices.
- Forms of payment?
We accept all major credit cards as well as checks and cash. We also offer finance options through AllWell, Wells Fargo, and CareCredit.

Directions to the Clinic
You can find us located at 300 South Greeno Road in Fairhope, Alabama. Thomas Hospital is next door to us and we are across Hwy 98 from the Sonic Drive-In.
From the North: From Montrose or Daphne, take US Hwy 98 heading south. In Fairhope the highway will become North Greeno Rd, continue until passing Fairhope Ave. Thomas Hospital will be on the right after Fairhope Ave, and after it on the right there are multiple turn-ins to medical buildings where you can find our office.
From the South: Use Hwy 98 heading north and pass HL Sonny Callahan Airport and then Fairhope High School on the right. After the intersection for Nichols Ave look for a couple of medical offices on the left. We are located near the middle turn-in across from the Sonic.
From the East: If traveling from Robertsdale or Silverhill, commute on John Franklin Smart Memorial Hwy (104) west towards Fairhope and Mobile Bay. When reaching Hwy 98 turn left to head south towards the coast. Thomas Hospital will be on the right after Fairhope Ave, and after it on the right there are multiple turn-ins to medical buildings where you can find our Beltone sign.
From the West: Use S Mobile St/Fairhope Ave to head north and then east from the coast and central Fairhope. Pass by Faulkner State Community College and continue to the intersection with N Greeno Road by Walgreens. Turn right to head south and a short distance ahead just past Thomas Hospital our Beltone office is located on the right before Nichols Ave.
